It's not fair!

At the moment I'm attending a session on inter-generational equity. The theme is extremely important and urgent, but I am just too tired to grasp exactly what the speakers are saying. But the essence is (I think) this: How will we make sure the leaders of today give us and future generations the same chances to a good life as they have had? This is difficult. It's a moral question, but how do we make laws around it? Because as we know, moral is not a commodity around here...

I think a good way to push for this issue at COPs would be to invite (bribe?) the delegates' and ministers' children to the meetings themselves. That way, maybe they would remember what they're negotiating about...

jag var så trött o de var så VARMT. Trots att jag satt där i en halvtimme kommer jag varken ihåg vad som sas elller ens vad ämnet var....

smart! fa in lite verklighet i forhandlingarna! det handlar om deras barn, inte om att sa langt det gar forsoka lata sa mycket battre an man ar beredd att ga, finns kryphal overallt.
